Delete account

You can delete your Knipp account whenever you like, right in the app. Everything you've saved is then deleted.

In the app or on the web

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap ‘Delete account’ at the bottom.
3. Type DELETE and confirm. Your account and all its content are deleted straight away, and it can't be undone.

If you want to keep something first, export it in Settings before you delete.

What gets deleted

• Your account and email address
• Everything you've saved: notes, links, images, recordings, files, collections and reminders
• Your shares. What others have shared with you stays with them.

What disappears a little later

• Deleted data may remain in backups for up to 7 days before it disappears.
• Technical logs with IP address, time and which function was used are deleted automatically after up to 7 days. The content you've saved isn't in the logs.
• What the AI providers have received for processing, they delete themselves after up to 30 days. Anthropic may keep what it flags as a breach of its terms of use for longer. Read more in the privacy policy.

Can't get in?

Write to studio@fosselien.no from the email address you use in Knipp, and we'll delete the account for you.
